At Castro’s Restaurant we like to reward our ever-loyal customers, so those who make it to the restaurant nice and early are treated to this fantastic selection of ‘Early Bird’ specials.

2 courses for £14.95 or 3 courses for £17.95

The early bird menu is available Tuesday – Friday 6-7pm

Please note that this will be our standard lunchtime menu throughout all of December.

Starters

Homemade soup of the day

Made in house, crusty bread and butter (see specials board)

Nachos (vegetarian)

Warm nacho cheese, house salsa, sour cream, guacamole, jalapenos

Pan-fried Mushrooms (vegetarian)

Button mushrooms, garlic butter, parsley, crusty bread.

Pan-fried Chicken Livers

Chiven Livers, baby onion, fresh chilli, red wine gravy.

BBQ Chicken Wings

Chicken wings accompanied by sour cream dip.

Main Courses

Sao Paulo Curry (vegetarian)

A Brazillion inspired sweet potato and cashew nut curry, flavoured with coconut and tomato, a secret blend of spices and spiked with lime, chilli and coriander.

Coconut and Chilli Chicken

Chicken breast simmered in a coconut and fresh chilli sauce, flavoured with mushrooms and paprika.

1/4 Pound Cheeseburger

Grilled over coals for that flame grilled taste, served in a bun.

Cajun Chicken

Cooked to your liking, served with onion rings, mushrooms and house coleslaw.

Rump steak

Cooked to your liking, served with onion rings, mushrooms and house coleslaw.

All the above served with your choice of chips, latin potatoes, spicy Mexican style rice, lemon and cashew rice or coconut rice.

Fajitas

Served on a sizzling skillet with onions, peppers and your choice of filling. Accompanied by warm tortillas, guacamole, sour cream, grated cheese and house salsa.

Burrito

Your choice of filling with onions, peppers, parcelled into a tortilla wrap and baked, served with house tomato and herb sauce and melting cheddar cheese.

Enchilada

Castro’s take on a classic dish, we use a spicy cream based sauce, your choice of filling with onions and peppers rolled into a large tortilla and topped with cheddar cheese.

Choose from Chicken, Pulled Pork or Vegetable.
